YK 40 3m Hydraulic Road Blocker

The hydraulic road blocker represents the highest level of security technology available today for vehicle access control. Designed for areas requiring maximum protection—such as prevention of vehicle-based suicide attacks—it features a hydraulic drive system capable of rendering any vehicle immobile by damaging its undercarriage upon high-speed impact, regardless of the vehicle's weight or structure.

  • Drive System: Fully hydraulic, activated via an electronic control board.

  • Control Options: Compatible with button panels, remote controls, card readers, fingerprint recognition systems, etc.

  • Optional Security Accessories: Red-green traffic lights, flashing lights, sirens.

  • Manual Operation: In the event of a power outage, an optional manual pump allows manual control.

  • Opening/Closing Time: Standard cycle time is 3–4 seconds. Custom production available for speeds as low as 1 second.

Operation:

  • Pressing the raise button lifts the blocking arm, preventing vehicle passage.

  • Pressing the lower button retracts the arm, allowing vehicles to pass.

  • Emergency Raise Button: Can be integrated to respond to sudden threats.

  • Loop Detector System:

    • Entry Loop: Detects the presence of a vehicle, prompting the system to lower the blocker for entry.

    • Exit Loop: Detects completed vehicle exit and raises the blocker afterward.

    • Safety Loop: Prevents the blocker from raising if a vehicle is still on it, even if the raise button is pressed—ensuring no damage is caused to the vehicle.
