YK 40 2m Hydraulic Road Blocker

The hydraulic road blocker is the most secure system in modern vehicle access control technology. Designed for locations requiring maximum protection, including prevention of vehicular suicide attacks, the YK 40 features a hydraulic drive system capable of disabling any vehicle regardless of weight or structure upon high-speed impact by damaging its underside and components to prevent further movement.

Key Features:

  • Drive System: Fully hydraulic mechanism controlled via an electronic control board.

  • Control Options: Compatible with button controls, remote control, card readers, fingerprint recognition, etc.

  • Security Accessories (Optional): Red-green traffic lights, flashing beacon, siren.

  • Manual Operation: In the event of a power outage, a manual pump can be optionally integrated for operation.

  • Operating Speed: Standard opening/closing time is 3–4 seconds. Custom manufacturing available for speeds as low as 1 second.

How It Works:

  • Pressing the raise button lifts the moving section, blocking vehicle passage.

  • Pressing the lower button returns the section to ground level, allowing access.

Additional Security Functions:

  • Emergency Raise Button: Can be added for rapid deployment in case of sudden threats.

  • Loop Detector System:

    • Entry Loop: Detects incoming vehicles and lowers the blocker to allow passage.

    • Exit Loop: Detects vehicle exit and raises the blocker once clear.

    • Safety Loop: Prevents accidental raising if a vehicle is present on the blocker—even if the raise button is pressed—avoiding damage to the vehicle.
