Application Areas

The T6 Plus Barrier is a cost-effective product used to control vehicle entry and exit, especially in indoor and outdoor parking applications with medium vehicle traffic, as well as site entrances, workplaces, and factory entry/exit points.

Material

The T6 Barrier main body is manufactured as standard with electrostatic paint in RAL 3002 color code. In the T6 Barrier (Plus) model, the mounting apparatus, 5.25-meter LED arm, antishock rubber, reflective sticker, photocell, barrier fork, and remote control are provided as standard. Optionally, a flasher, loop, button, heater and fan unit, and RAL color code choice (available after ordering 5 barriers) can be provided.

General Use

The T6 Barrier is compatible with all access control systems such as remote control, button, card reader, and computer-based automation systems. With a daily open/close capacity of 1000 times, the T6 Barrier can be manually opened in case of a power outage. When an open command is sent from the dry contact output of an access control device such as a remote, button unit, or card reader, the barrier system operates and the barrier arm opens. Meanwhile, the safety photocell mounted on the barrier body detects the vehicle passing under the arm and prevents the arm from closing on the vehicle in case of any delay. After the vehicle passes through the barrier, the barrier arm automatically closes according to the preset closing time. If the photocell fails to function while the vehicle is passing and the arm closes on the vehicle, the antishock rubber underneath the barrier arm prevents vehicle damage and detects the presence of a vehicle, causing the arm to reopen for safe passage.

Safety

In the boom barrier equipped with an encoder-based safe reverse mechanism, the photocell system is used to prevent the arm from closing in the event of a possible delay during vehicle passage. Another method used is the loop system; the loop placed before the barrier sends a contact signal to the barrier when a vehicle is on the loop, triggering the arm to open.
