T 345 Eco Electromechanical Turnstile

T 345 is the most widely accepted basic turnstile model used to control access points around the world. Thanks to the robust mechanism developed by Makim, the T 345 turnstile can be used safely and reliably for many years, especially in areas with high pedestrian traffic.

Application

It can be seamlessly used in crowded areas such as public transportation zones, universities, banks, business centers, amusement parks, museums, gyms, and concert entrances.

Material

The T 345 tripod turnstile is manufactured as standard from 304 stainless steel. All arms and the body are stainless steel, while the hub section is made of aluminum material. The T 345 is a cost-effective, single-leg turnstile designed for use in narrow spaces. The main mechanism inside the turnstile is produced at Makim’s manufacturing facilities using a special precision casting technology. This ensures high impact resistance and long-term trouble-free operation. Thanks to the control boards developed by Makim engineers, the T 345 turnstile can operate in many different modes and configurations.

General Use

Bi-directional passage is possible through the T 345 turnstile. Any kind of access control device such as card readers, fingerprint readers, or facial recognition systems can be easily integrated via dry contact. When access is granted, the lock is released, and users can gently push the arms to pass through. Once a full rotation is completed, the turnstile locks again. If no passage occurs within 15 seconds after unlocking, the turnstile emits an audible warning and then re-locks. On both sides of the T 345 turnstile, there are LED indicators in the form of red crosses and green arrows to show the direction of passage. More than 30 people can pass through the turnstile per minute.

Security

In the event of a power outage, the arms of the T 345 turnstile allow free passage in both directions. Optionally, a drop-arm mechanism can be provided. In this mechanism, when power is cut and a signal is received from an emergency system, the arm drops, fully clearing the passage. This allows for quick evacuation of the area when necessary.
