Material
The T2500K Single full-height turnstile is manufactured from 304-grade stainless steel or in various colors with electrostatic powder coating. Optionally, 316-grade stainless steel can be used, or the rotor can be stainless while the outer case is painted. Certain critical components of the turnstile mechanism are produced using special precision casting technology at Makim’s production facilities. This ensures impact resistance and long-term trouble-free operation. With the control boards developed by Makim engineers, the T2500K Single turnstile can operate in many different modes and connection types.

General Use
The T2500K Single full-height turnstile can be manufactured as single or double units. In areas where multiple turnstiles are needed, double models are more economical. Passage configuration can be adjusted with 3 or 4 arms (at 120° or 90° intervals). Bidirectional passage is supported. Any type of access control device, such as card readers, fingerprint or facial recognition systems, can be easily integrated via dry contact. When access is granted, the turnstile unlocks and allows passage by gently pushing the arms. Once the arms complete a full rotation, the turnstile locks again. If no passage occurs within 15 seconds after unlocking, the turnstile emits an audible alert and re-locks. The T2500K Single turnstile features LED indicators on both sides showing passage direction with a red cross and green arrow. More than 30 passages per minute can be made through the turnstile.

Security
In the event of a power failure, the arms of the T2500K Single turnstile allow free passage in both directions. Alternatively, if a battery is used, the turnstile will continue operating in its default mode during power outages.
