Material
The T2500K Single full-height turnstile is manufactured from 304-grade stainless steel or optionally in various colors with electrostatic powder coating. Optionally, 316-grade stainless steel can be used, or the rotor can be stainless steel while the outer casing is painted. Certain critical components of the turnstile mechanism are produced using special precision casting technology at Makim’s manufacturing facilities. This ensures high impact resistance and long-term, trouble-free operation. Thanks to the control boards developed by Makim engineers, the T2500K Single turnstile can be operated in a wide range of modes and connections.

General Use
The T2500K Single full-height turnstile can be manufactured as single or double units. Double models are more economical in areas requiring multiple turnstiles. Passage configuration can be adjusted as 3 or 4 arms (at 120° or 90° intervals). Bidirectional passage is supported. All types of access control devices such as card readers, fingerprint scanners, or facial recognition systems can be easily integrated via dry contact. When access is granted, the turnstile unlocks and allows passage by gently pushing the arms. Once the arms complete a full rotation, the turnstile locks again. If no passage occurs within 15 seconds of unlocking, the turnstile emits an audible warning and then re-locks. LED indicators (red cross and green arrow) on both sides indicate the passage direction. More than 30 passages per minute can be made through the turnstile.

Security
In the event of a power outage, the arms of the T2500K Single turnstile allow free passage in both directions. Alternatively, if a battery is used, the turnstile will continue operating in its pre-set mode during power failures.
