Materials
The T2500K Single eco full-height turnstile is manufactured from 304-grade stainless steel or with electrostatic powder coating in various colors. Optionally, 316-grade stainless steel can be used, or the rotor can be made of stainless steel while the outer housing is painted. Certain critical components of the turnstile mechanism are produced at Makim’s production facilities using special precision casting technology. This ensures high impact resistance and long-term, trouble-free operation. Control boards developed by Makim engineers enable the T2500K Single turnstile to operate in various modes and connection types.
General Use
The T2500K Single eco full-height turnstile can be manufactured as either single or double. In areas where multiple turnstiles are needed, double models offer a more economical solution. Passage configurations can be set as 3-arm or 4-arm (with 120° or 90° intervals) based on preference. Bidirectional passage is available. All types of access control devices such as card readers, fingerprint scanners, or facial recognition systems can be easily integrated via dry contact. When access is granted, the turnstile unlocks, and users can pass through by gently pushing the arms. Once a full rotation is completed, the turnstile locks again. If no passage occurs within 15 seconds of unlocking, the turnstile emits an audible warning and re-locks. LED indicators in the form of a red cross and green arrow are available on both sides of the turnstile to indicate passage direction. More than 30 passages per minute are supported.
Security
In the event of a power outage, the arms of the T2500K Single turnstile allow free passage in both directions. Alternatively, if a battery is used, the turnstile will continue to operate in its preset mode during power interruptions.
