Material
The T2500K Double full-height turnstile is manufactured from 304-grade stainless steel or with electrostatic powder coating in various colors. Optionally, 316-grade stainless steel can be used, or the rotor can be made of stainless steel while the outer body is painted. Certain critical parts of the turnstile mechanism are produced at Makim’s manufacturing facilities using precision casting technology. This ensures the system’s resistance to impacts and guarantees long-term, trouble-free operation. Control boards developed by Makim engineers allow the T2500K Double turnstile to operate in various modes and connection types.

General Use
The T2500K Double full-height turnstile can be manufactured as either single or double. In areas requiring multiple turnstiles, double models are more economical. The passage configuration can be 3-arm or 4-arm (at 120° or 90° angles), based on preference. Bidirectional passage is available. Any access control device such as card readers, fingerprint scanners, or facial recognition systems can be easily integrated with the turnstile via dry contact. When access is granted, the turnstile unlocks and the arms rotate with a gentle push. Once the arms complete a full rotation, the turnstile re-locks. If passage does not occur within 15 seconds after unlocking, the turnstile gives an audible warning and then re-locks. LED lights on both sides of the turnstile display a red cross and green arrow to indicate passage direction. The turnstile can accommodate more than 30 passages per minute.

Security
In the event of a power failure, the arms of the T2500K Double turnstile allow free passage in both directions. Alternatively, when a battery is used, the turnstile will continue operating in its preset mode during the power outage.
