Material
The T 2500K Double eco full-height turnstile is manufactured from 304-grade stainless steel or with electrostatic powder coating in various colors. Optionally, 316-grade stainless steel can be used, or the rotor can be stainless steel while the outer housing is painted. Certain critical components of the turnstile mechanism are produced at Makim’s manufacturing facilities using precision casting technology. This ensures high resistance to impacts and guarantees long-term, trouble-free operation. Thanks to control boards developed by Makim engineers, the T 2500K Double turnstile can operate in various modes and configurations.

General Use
The T 2500K Double full-height turnstile can be manufactured as either single or double. In areas where multiple turnstiles are needed, double models provide a more economical solution. Passage configuration can be 3-arm or 4-arm (120° or 90° spacing), depending on preference. The turnstile allows bidirectional passage. Any access control device such as card readers, fingerprint scanners, or facial recognition systems can be easily integrated via dry contact. Once access is granted, the turnstile unlocks, and users can pass by gently pushing the arms. After a full rotation, the arms re-lock. If passage does not occur within 15 seconds after unlocking, the turnstile emits an audible warning and then re-locks. LED indicators on both sides of the turnstile display red crosses and green arrows to indicate passage direction. More than 30 people can pass through the turnstile per minute.

Security
In the event of a power outage, the arms of the T 2500K Double turnstile allow free passage in both directions. Alternatively, when a battery is used, the turnstile will continue operating in its preset mode during the power failure.
