Material
The T 2500D Single full-height turnstile is manufactured from 304-grade stainless steel or optionally with electrostatic powder coating in various colors. It can also be produced from 316-grade stainless steel, or with a stainless steel rotor and painted outer housing. Certain critical components within the turnstile mechanism are produced at Makim’s manufacturing facilities using precision casting technology. This ensures the system’s durability against impacts and guarantees long-term, trouble-free operation. The control boards developed by Makim engineers enable the T 2500D Single turnstile to operate in various modes and configurations.

General Use
The T 2500D Single full-height turnstile can be manufactured in single or double models. In areas requiring multiple turnstiles, double models offer a more cost-effective solution. Passage spacing can be configured with either 3 or 4 arms (120° or 90° intervals), depending on the requirement. Bidirectional passage is supported. Any type of access control device—such as card readers, fingerprint scanners, or facial recognition systems—can be easily integrated via dry contact. Once access is granted, the turnstile unlocks and passage is made by gently pushing the arms. After one full rotation, the arms lock again. If no passage occurs within 15 seconds of unlocking, the turnstile emits an audible alert and re-locks. LED indicators on both sides of the turnstile display the passage status with a red cross and a green arrow. The turnstile allows for over 30 passages per minute.

Security
In the event of a power outage, the arms of the T 2500D Single turnstile allow free passage in both directions. Alternatively, if a battery is used, the turnstile continues to operate in its default mode during the power interruption.
