Material
The T 2500D Single full-height turnstile is manufactured from 304-grade stainless steel or with electrostatic powder coating in various colors. Optionally, it can be produced from 316-grade stainless steel, or with a stainless rotor and painted outer housing. Some critical components of the turnstile mechanism are produced at Makim’s manufacturing facilities using precision casting technology. This ensures the system’s resistance to impacts and guarantees reliable operation over many years. Control boards developed by Makim engineers allow the T 2500D Single turnstile to operate in various modes and integration setups.

General Use
The T 2500D Single full-height turnstile is produced as a single-unit model. Passage spacing can be configured as 3-arm or 4-arm (at 120° or 90° intervals) depending on the requirement. Bidirectional passage is available. Any access control device—such as card readers, fingerprint scanners, or facial recognition systems—can be easily integrated via dry contact. When access is granted, the turnstile unlocks and passage is achieved by gently pushing the arms. Once the arms complete a full rotation, the turnstile locks again. If no passage occurs within 15 seconds of unlocking, the system emits an audible warning and then re-locks. On both sides of the T 2500D Single turnstile, LED indicators in the form of a red cross and green arrow display the passage direction. The turnstile allows more than 30 passages per minute.

Security
In the event of a power outage, the arms of the T 2500D Single turnstile allow free passage in both directions. Alternatively, if a battery is used, the turnstile will continue to operate in its default mode during power failures.
