Material
The T 2500D Double full-height turnstile is manufactured from 304-grade stainless steel or with electrostatic powder coating in various colors. Optionally, it can be produced from 316-grade stainless steel, or with a stainless rotor and a painted outer casing. Some critical components of the turnstile mechanism are manufactured at Makim’s production facilities using special precision casting technology. This ensures the system’s resistance to impacts and guarantees trouble-free operation for many years. Control boards developed by Makim engineers allow the T 2500D Double turnstile to operate in many different modes and connection configurations.

General Use
The T 2500D Double full-height turnstile can be produced as single or double. In areas where multiple turnstiles are required, double models offer a more economical solution. Passage spacing can be configured as 3-arm or 4-arm (at 120° or 90° intervals) depending on the requirement. Bidirectional passage is available. Any access control device such as card readers, fingerprint, or facial recognition systems can be easily integrated via dry contact. When access is granted, the turnstile unlocks, and the user gently pushes the arms to pass. Once the arms complete a full rotation, the turnstile locks again. If no passage occurs within 15 seconds after unlocking, the turnstile gives an audible warning and then re-locks. On both sides of the T 2500D Double turnstile, there are LED indicators in the shape of a red cross and a green arrow to show the direction of passage. More than 30 passages per minute are possible through the turnstile.

Security
In the event of a power outage, the arms of the T 2500D Double turnstile allow free passage in both directions. Alternatively, if a battery is used, the turnstile will continue to operate in its default mode during power cuts.
