T 250 GT Tripod Electromechanical Turnstile
Application
It can be seamlessly implemented even in crowded environments such as public transportation areas, universities, banks, business centers, amusement parks, museums, gyms, and concert entrances.
Material
The T 250 GT tripod turnstile is manufactured from 304-grade stainless steel as standard. All arms and the body are made of 304 stainless steel, while the hub section is made of aluminum. The T 250 GT features elegantly designed oval-shaped legs. Optionally, production can be carried out using 316-grade stainless steel sheets. The core mechanism inside the turnstile is produced at Makim’s production facilities using special precision casting technology. This ensures the system’s resistance to impacts and guarantees long-term, trouble-free operation. With control boards developed by Makim engineers, the T 250 GT turnstile can operate in many different modes and connection configurations.
General Use
Bidirectional passage is possible through the T 250 GT turnstile. Any access control device such as card readers, fingerprint, or facial recognition systems can be easily integrated via dry contact. When access is granted, the lock is released, and a gentle push on the arms allows passage. Once the arms complete a full rotation, the turnstile locks again. If no passage occurs within 15 seconds after unlocking, the turnstile first gives an audible warning and then re-locks. On both sides of the T 250 GT turnstile, there are LED indicators displaying a red cross and a green arrow to show the direction of passage. The turnstile allows more than 30 passages per minute.
Security
In the event of a power failure, the arms of the T 250 GT turnstile allow free passage in both directions. Optionally, a drop-arm mechanism can be provided. In this configuration, during emergencies, a signal from the system causes the arm to drop, completely clearing the passageway. This enables rapid evacuation of the premises when necessary.
