T 250 Eco Electromechanical Turnstile
T 250 Eco is one of the most widely recognized basic turnstile models used worldwide for access control. Thanks to the robust mechanism developed by Makim, the T 250 Eco turnstile can be used reliably for many years, especially in high-traffic areas.
Application
It can be seamlessly used even in crowded environments such as public transportation areas, universities, banks, business centers, amusement parks, museums, gyms, and concert entrances.
Material
The T 250 Eco tripod turnstile is manufactured from 304-grade stainless steel as standard. All arms and the body are made of stainless steel, while the hub section is made of corrosion-resistant aluminum. Some critical components of the turnstile mechanism are produced at Makim’s production facilities using special precision casting technology. This ensures the system’s resistance to impacts and guarantees long-term, trouble-free operation. With control boards developed by Makim engineers, the T 250 Eco turnstile can operate in many different modes and connection types.
General Use
Bidirectional passage is possible through the T 250 Eco turnstile. Any access control device such as card readers, fingerprint or facial recognition systems can be easily integrated via dry contact. When access is granted, the lock is released, and a gentle push on the arms allows passage. Once the arms complete a full rotation, the turnstile locks again. If no passage occurs within 15 seconds after unlocking, the turnstile first gives an audible warning and then re-locks. On both sides of the T 250 Eco turnstile, there are LED indicators displaying a red cross and green arrow to show the direction of passage. The turnstile allows more than 30 passages per minute.
Security
In the event of a power failure, the arms of the T 250 Eco turnstile allow free passage in both directions. Optionally, a drop-arm mechanism can be provided. In this configuration, if an emergency signal is sent to the system, the arms are dropped, fully clearing the passage. This makes it possible to evacuate the area quickly when necessary.
