T 250 A2 Eco Electromechanical Turnstile
T 250 A2 Eco is the most widely recognized basic turnstile model used to control access points. Thanks to the powerful mechanism developed by Makim, the T 250 A2 Eco turnstile is a reliable and long-lasting solution, especially in areas with heavy pedestrian traffic.
Application
It provides seamless operation even in crowded environments such as public transportation areas, universities, banks, business centers, amusement parks, museums, gyms, and concert entrances.
Material
The T 250 A2 Eco tripod turnstile is made of 304-grade stainless steel as standard. All arms and the body are stainless steel, while the central hub is made of aluminum. Unlike the basic model, the T 250 A2 Eco features an angled top cover. The main internal mechanism is produced in Makim’s manufacturing facilities using special precision casting technology. This ensures impact resistance and long-term problem-free operation. With control boards developed by Makim engineers, the T 250 A2 Eco turnstile can operate in many different modes and connections.
General Use
The T 250 A2 Eco turnstile allows bidirectional passage. Any access control device, such as card readers, fingerprint, or facial recognition systems, can be easily integrated with the turnstile via dry contact. When access is granted, the turnstile unlocks and a slight push on the arms allows passage. Once the arm completes a full rotation, the turnstile locks again. If no passage occurs within 15 seconds of unlocking, the turnstile emits an audible warning and re-locks. On both sides of the T 250 A2 Eco turnstile, there are LED indicators showing the direction of passage with a red cross and a green arrow. The turnstile allows more than 30 passages per minute.
Security
In the event of a power outage, the T 250 A2 Eco turnstile arms allow free passage in both directions. Optionally, a drop arm mechanism can be provided. In this configuration, when a signal is received from the emergency system during a power outage, the arm is dropped, leaving the passage completely open. This ensures quick evacuation of the area when necessary.
