Material
The T 1400 full-height turnstile is manufactured as standard from 304 stainless steel. Some critical components of the turnstile mechanism are produced in Makim's manufacturing facilities using special precision casting technology. This ensures the system's impact resistance and guarantees trouble-free operation for many years. Thanks to control boards developed by Makim engineers, the T 1400 turnstile can operate in many different modes and connection types.

General Use
The T 1400 full-height turnstile is manufactured as a single unit. Passage is provided with a 4-arm structure (at 90° intervals). Bidirectional passage is possible. Any type of access control device—such as card reader, fingerprint, or facial recognition—can be easily integrated via dry contact. When access is granted, the turnstile lock is released, allowing the user to gently push the arms and pass through. Once the arms complete one full rotation, the turnstile locks again. If no passage occurs within 15 seconds after unlocking, the turnstile gives an audible warning and then relocks. On both sides of the T 1400 turnstile, there are LED indicators showing the passage direction with a red cross and green arrow. More than 30 passages per minute can be made through the turnstile.

Security
In case of a power outage, the arms of the T 1400 turnstile allow free passage in both directions. Alternatively, if a battery is used, the turnstile continues to operate in its preset standard mode during power failure.
