Makim CMR 15 Proximity Card Reader, with its elegant design and TCP/IP (Ethernet) communication capability, is a stylish card reader ideal for indoor use. Designed for access control, it supports up to 5,000 users. The relay-equipped (dry contact) reader can open turnstiles and doors using card access, and has a 200,000 log capacity.

With a reading speed of under 20 ms for 5,000 users, the CMR 15 Proximity Card Reader delivers fast performance. Through the TCP/IP communication port, all log data, entry-exit records, user-based authorizations, and daily, weekly, or monthly reports can be retrieved via software. The device can also be connected to a panel via Wiegand in/out and RS485.

It features a built-in buzzer that provides audible alerts for every action and operates at 12 V. Its 1.6" TFT color screen allows users to monitor operations. When a card is scanned, the card ID and registered information, if any, are displayed on the screen.
